Prag City Maps

Here we bring links to the Prague Maps. Prague is a very easy city to get around with a great underground metro system as well as trams and buses.

Most Prague Maps shows you some of the main area's of interest such as the Old Town Square and Prague Castle. Prague city is situated on the Vltava River which runs through the centre of the city. We have also included a map of the Metro Underground system which will pretty much get you anywhere in the city that you want to go.

Innenstadt

Am bekanntesten sind sicher die Prager Burg mit dem Veitsdom, die Karlsbrücke und der Altstädter Ring mit Teynkirche, Ungelt, Rathaus und astronomischer Uhr (Orloj). Aber auch die zweite mittelalterliche Burg, der Vyšehrad mit der St. Peter-und-Pauls-Kirche gehört zu den bekannteren Bauwerken. Die Prager Altstadt wird besonders durch ihre alten Häuser, die oft bis in die Romanik und Gotik zurückreichen, ihre zahlreichen Kirchen und romantischen Gassen geprägt. Auf der Kleinseite und in der Hradschin-Stadt dominieren dagegen Palais aus der Renaissance und dem Barock, darunter auch das Palais Lobkowicz (Prag) mit der bundesdeutschen Prager Botschaft, die 1989 als Zufluchtsort von Flüchtlingen aus der DDR gesamtdeutsche Geschichte schrieb. Unweit der beiden Stadtteile liegt das Kloster Strahov.
