Religion

Religion in the Czech Republic was dominated by Christianity until at least the first half of the 20th century. Since then it has steadily declined and today the Czech Republic and particularly Prague has one of the least religious populations in the world. Despite the fact that about 50% of the Czech society are atheists (non-believers), there are plenty of beautiful churches in Prague. It is also good to know that services in English are held only at a few churches.
