Prague’s Public Transport Adjusts to New Limited Timetable!

During the Easter holidays, Prague’s public transport system will have limited services, as stated by Filip Drápal, the spokesperson for ROPID.
On Maundy Thursday, the transport services will operate under a “half-holiday” schedule, which means that buses and trams will run less frequently, especially during the busy morning and afternoon periods. Nevertheless, the metro will maintain its usual weekday schedule.
On Good Friday, public transport will operate on Saturday schedules, while on Easter Monday, services will adhere to Sunday timetables.
All school lines and specific school services on regional and suburban routes will be unavailable for the entire duration of the Easter holiday.
“Since the half-holiday timetables only apply for a single day, they will not be displayed at each stop,” explained Drápal. Instead, passengers are recommended to verify the current schedules by visiting the official website www.pid.cz or using mobile transit apps.
These changes are typical for public holidays in the Czech capital, and commuters are advised to plan their journeys in advance to prevent any potential delays.
