Don’t Miss the Stunning Free Video Mapping Spectacle at Prague’s National Theater!
An amazing video mapping event is set to transform the exterior of the National Theater in Prague on Wednesday, April 23, and it’s completely free for everyone to attend.
The captivating light display will kick off at 8:50 p.m., and the public is encouraged to come together at nearby Střelecký Island to enjoy the show.
This special event commemorates the 120th anniversary of the debut of Kytice (Bouquet), which is a fundamental piece of Czech literature and theater history.
The dramatic work, which draws inspiration from the poetry of Karel Jaromír Erben, continues to be recognized as one of the most significant pieces within Czech culture.
The event is sponsored by Pilsner Urquell, which will help elevate the overall experience of the evening.
Starting at 6:42 p.m., two hours before the video mapping performance, a designated viewing area will open on Střelecký Island. Attendees can enjoy freshly tapped Pilsner beer and light snacks while they wait for the show to start.
Admission is completely free, and there are no tickets or prior registration needed. The location provides a fantastic view of the theater’s historical exterior, making it the perfect place to soak in the visuals, sounds, and ambiance of the night.
