Experience the 2025 Barista of the Year in Prague: Join the Festival on May 16–17!
This May, Prague is set to be the heart of Czech coffee culture with the exciting launch of the “Barista of the Year 2025” festival.
The event will take place in the Královka Sports Hall, located in Prague’s Bubeneč district, on May 16 and 17. It promises an exciting lineup tailored for both casual coffee drinkers and experienced coffee experts.
This distinctive festival will feature a variety of activities such as public coffee tastings, lectures, and hands-on workshops. Additionally, it will host two prestigious national competitions: the Czech Barista Championship and the Czech Cup Tasters Championship. Those who emerge victorious will have the fantastic opportunity to represent Czechia at prominent international barista competitions.
Attendees can enjoy coffees from a range of Czech and international roasters and engage with leading figures from the specialty coffee industry. Besides tastings, the event’s schedule includes masterclasses, insightful expert discussions, and the thrilling chance to watch top baristas compete live on stage.
The festival is open to the public on both days from 10:00 to 18:00, and the tickets will allow for unlimited tastings as well as access to all the educational sessions offered.
