Experience the Pottery Festival at Nelahozeves Castle

For many years, the month of April has been associated with the Pottery Festival at Nelahozeves Castle, and this year continues that wonderful tradition. You can expect to enjoy classic festival highlights, including a fair featuring many different handicrafts, an exciting program designed for kids, delightful music, and a variety of sweet and savory snacks, along with Lobkowicz wine. Admission to this year’s festival costs 250 CZK. This ticket not only grants you access to the festival but also includes a guided tour of the castle’s exhibition, so make sure to explore the beautiful interiors of the castle. Over both days, you will be able to enjoy the festival from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a vibrant pottery market, tours of Nelahozeves Castle, and an engaging accompanying program.

This year, the Pottery Festival will shine a spotlight on Czech pottery and ceramics as well as other crafts. You will even have the chance to paint your own ceramic mugs or try your hand at the potter’s wheel. Although the Hunger Room will not be open, there will be an abundance of delicious food options available. Additionally, you can find stalls showcasing a wide selection of traditional Czech ceramics.
