21st Museum Nights Festival At Sun Spa in Luhačovice

This year’s Museum Night will be opened by the Sun Spa in Luhačovice
National launch of the 21st annual Festival of Museum Nights will take place in Friday 16 May 2025 from 14:00 in the premises at Sun Spa in Luhačovice. On this festive occasion, on behalf of the Association of Museums and Galleries of the Czech Republic, significant personalities working in the field of museums in the Zlín Region will be awarded.
The National Opening of the Festival of Museum Nights will be followed by the 6 p.m. Luhačovice Museum Night. The Sun Baths will be open, namely from 18:00 to 20:00. A permanent exhibition about the history of the place, the tradition of spa hydrotherapy procedures and especially the work of architect Dušan Jurkovič and composer Leoš Janáček attracts visitors. During the evening, theWater – Sun – Air! with exercises luhačovice air navigation for young and old on the terrace of the Sun Baths. From 19:30 to 21:00 there will be guided walk Prague’s neighbourhoods and the history of the villas and their inhabitants, tour of Villa Kancnýřka, meeting at the ticket office of the Sun Baths (max. 30 people). Museum of Southeast Moravia in Zlín, p. o. – Museum of Luhačovice Zálesí will be open from 18:00 to 22:00. You can see the permanent exhibitions Known and unknown Luhačovice a Cabinet of Dušan Jurkovič. Exhibition “Auto-moto-colonnade” dedicated to the history of car and motorcycle tournaments in Luhačovice in 1928-1947. Guided tours will take place from 7:30 p.m., you can also enjoy a photo corner with historical costumes or a children’s playroom.
Olomouc Museum Night
Cultural organizations in Olomouc prepared for their visitors within the Olomouc Museum Night at 16 May 2025 a varied range of accompanying programmes. For example, Archbishop’s Palace will offer guided tours of the historic halls and a musical programme. Museum of Glass and Jewellery is planning creative workshops, night tours and a quiz in the exhibitions Never Again! to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. V Regional Gallery in Liberec art workshops for children and parents and guided tours of exhibitions will be held. North Bohemian Museum has prepared, in addition to tours of exhibitions an adventure trail through the museum park, Metelka’s mechanical nativity scene, and the Garden of Eden and the museum terrace will also be open. Don’t miss a visit to the new exhibition Technical Museum in Liberec (Pavilion I, 1st floor). A demonstration of the newly opened premises and guided tours of the exhibition await you. Ferdinand Porsche’s birthplace in Vratislavice prepared by guided tours. Ostrava Museum Night
To the 16th cultural festival Ostrava Museum Night will involve a number of Ostrava organizations that will offer free entry and an unusual programme until late at night. This year’s theme is Signals. Adventurous, fun and educational activities for all generations will reveal the diverse types of signals and ways of interpersonal communication. At the Michal Mine, listen to the nightly guided tours mine signalling equipment. At the Municipal Atelier of Spatial Planning and Architecture (MAPPA), get inspired by traffic signals in the city and play a card game with different types of signal systems at the Ostrava Museum.

Diverse possibilities at the Brno Museum Night
Discover what the cultural heart of Brno has to offer under the cover of night. Already 21. Brno Museum Night will be held on Saturday May 17, from 6pm to midnight. The programme offer will be provided by a total of 30 participating cultural institutions. This year’s special guest of the festival is the restored St. James Church. During the Brno Museum Night you can visit museums, galleries, historical buildings and other cultural monuments, which open up to the public in a special light. During this year’s 21st Brno Museum Night, the buildings will be open to all visitors until midnight Museum of Decorative Arts, the Pražák Palace and the Deputy Governor’s Palace. The following are prepared guided tours exhibitions and displays focused on design and fashion, graphic design or 20th century Czech art, as well as intergenerational workshops. It will be possible to end the night pleasantly with refreshments and music on the terrace of UMPRUM under the Cloud of Light as well as in the courtyard of the Pražák and Vice-Rector’s Palace.

Institute of the Memory of the Nation program presents the message of the multimedia exhibition Silent Heroism. Through interactive technology, it brings to life the lives of witnesses of key events of our past. As part of the exhibition taster, you can walk through selected stops and experience first-hand feel the power of stories of couragethat give you chills. All this will be complemented by lecturers with with a special workshop for children and adults. You are also welcome to Brno villas, a rich program prepared by Villa Löw-Beer (fashion show in the field of Ecotextile design, special access to the attic – screening of the film Soirée or musical performance), open Arnold Villa (self-guided tour with text guide at 18.00, 18.30, 19.00, 19.30, meeting at the reception) and Villa Tugendhat will be open to visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Free open garden.
Museum Night also invites to Pilsen
Pilsen Museum Night 2025 will take place in Friday, May 30 from 16:00 to 23:00. There will be a full program and reduced or free admission. Sixteen museums and galleries are involved in this year’s event and you can expect a rich accompanying programme at many locations. For example, you can look forward to a tour of Semler Residence, where tours of the historic interior as well as workshops and games will take place. The band Van swing will play for dancing and listening. Tickets are available at the Semler Residence box office or online – buy early, capacity is limited! West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen welcomes its visitors free of charge in the main building (7 – 11 p.m.) and in other branches. Puppet Museum will have kites this year, you can create your own. There will also be an entrance to the Brewery Museum a Pilsen Historical Underground. In the museum exhibition you can try brewing skills – keg building or walking in ice shoes. On the museum grounds, you’ll build Pilsen out of blocks. A commemoration of the liberation of the Czech West in 1945 will Patton Memorial Pilsen guided tours and an accompanying children’s programme.
Prague Museum Night 2025 will offer many experiences
