Hoxton JzP Introduces Irresistible Brunch and Smash Burgers to Prague 3!

From vibrant music studios to bustling kitchens, Hoxton proves that true passion can be served between two perfectly smashed buns.
This burger haven was established by Tim Simenon, who previously worked as a producer for Depeche Mode, and Nikita Sidorov, the former owner of The Craft burger restaurants. They have successfully found their rhythm in the Jiřího z Poděbrad neighborhood of Prague. While Hoxton initially gained fame for its burgers, its menu has now broadened significantly, extending well beyond just dinnertime options.
Having opened last October, Hoxton JzP has quickly become a favorite among a lively mix of locals, couples, families, and solo visitors who populate the square throughout the day.
“Even though our two branches of Hoxton are fairly close to each other, Jiřího z Poděbrad has its own unique atmosphere and character. It attracts a varied clientele,” Sidorov explains. “We see this as a great opportunity to connect with a new community.”
While the smash burgers remain the cornerstone of their offerings, guests are now invited to enjoy brunch or lunch any weekday from 10am to 4pm, due to the all-day menu available at Hoxton JzP. The weekday “Lunch Offer” is perfect for those in search of a quick yet satisfying meal at an affordable price, featuring a combo deal — a Single Cheeseburger, fries, and a cola — for just 228 CZK. Burgers are served smashed, paired with house sauce or mustard mayo.
The Hoxton JzP location also introduces exclusive burger recipes that can only be found at this site. The brunch menu features beloved comfort food options like eggs Benedict, soft scrambled eggs, and mochi ice cream. “We aimed to convey that at Hoxton JzP, we’re not solely about burgers during the evening; we have brunch and lunch options as well,” the team shares.
One of the standout dishes is the “Tribute Sandwich,” a brunch delight served on a brioche bun, created to honor Anthony Bourdain.
Their Cheese Bomb burger has rapidly gained an iconic status: patrons are provided with gloves to pour melted cheddar over their own burger, creating a fun and interactive experience.
“We are passionate food enthusiasts and take inspiration from eateries worldwide and social media,” Simenon notes, stressing the team’s perspective of food as a creative global venture. “That’s how the UFO Burger came into being.” This now-renowned UFO Burger, which is sealed at the edges to keep fillings secure, can be enjoyed with soft scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, or mushrooms.
To enhance the dining experience, Hoxton JzP also features a selection of brunch drinks, including mimosas and freshly squeezed juices. There is a variety of vegetarian and spicy options that complement the drink offerings beautifully.
“Although the bolder flavor pairings may sell less frequently, they still remain an essential part of our identity,” Simenon adds. Regardless of whether guests choose to stick with the classics or explore new options, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. All three Hoxton locations proudly hold a Google rating of 4.9 stars — a testament the founders attribute to their unwavering commitment to food quality, attentive service, and a warm atmosphere from the very beginning.
At Hoxton JzP, the atmosphere is carefully curated, with the soundtrack receiving the same level of attention as the kitchen’s creations. Vinyl records adorn the walls, paying tribute to Simenon’s musical background while also shaping the restaurant’s unique vibe. “It’s a vital part of who we are,” Sidorov explains. “We showcase vinyl singles and albums on our walls, along with art that resonates with us. It’s a fundamental element of our spaces and embodies our influences and passions.”
With budget-friendly lunch deals, a dynamic brunch menu, and a commitment to both fantastic music and exceptional cuisine, Hoxton JzP is creating its own unique niche in Prague’s culinary scene — one smashed burger at a time.
