Exciting National Opening in Luhačovice

The National Opening of the Festival is scheduled for Friday, 16 May 2025, at 14:00 at the Sun Spa in Luhačovice. The exciting program will feature the recognition of distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to museology in the Zlín Region. In addition, there will be a concert by the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra and presentations from various cultural institutions representing the Zlín Region and the town of Luhačovice. Later in the evening, starting at 6:00 p.m., we will have the Luhačovice Museum Night, which promises a diverse array of activities for visitors.
During the Museum Nights, museums and galleries often attract visitors who might not usually go to these places. This event provides a wonderful chance to explore cultural institutions during unique hours and in a special atmosphere, which may encourage them to return in the future. Museum nights go beyond just standard tours; they feature unconventional events, engaging activities, concerts, creative workshops, theatrical performances, and immersive guided tours. Guests can relish the enchanting ambiance of the evening, complete with illuminated exhibitions and displays, as well as programming suitable for the entire family. It’s an ideal occasion to experience museums and galleries after hours, under a starlit sky, often at little or no cost with a symbolic admission fee.
