2025’s Hottest Music Acts Lighting Up Czech Summer Festivals!
The vibrant and unique industrial setting of **Colours of Ostrava** (from July 16 to July 19, 2025) is set to host punk rock icon **Iggy Pop**, marking his much-anticipated return after a 15-year hiatus. In addition to Iggy, festival-goers can look forward to performances by **Sting** and **Shaggy**, who will commemorate the 30th anniversary of his iconic album *Mr Lover Lover* in Ostrava. The **Rock for People** festival (scheduled for June 11 – June 15, 2025) will feature heavyweights of Californian metal, including **Avenged Sevenfold**, **Slipknot**, and the trailblazers of punk rock, the **Sex Pistols**. This star-studded lineup also welcomes iconic bands such as **Linkin Park** and **Guns N’ Roses**, featuring the dynamic duo of **Axl Rose** and **Slash**, among others.

Attendees of **Metronome Prague 2025** (taking place from June 19 to June 21, 2025) will be treated to unforgettable hits like “Ironic” and “Thank U” from Canadian artist **Alanis Morissette**. They can also enjoy the soul-stirring track “Human”, performed by **Rory Graham**, better known as **Rag’n’Bone Man**, who has collaborated with renowned artists like Gorillaz, Logic, Calvin Harris, and Pink. The party will reach new heights with the South African group **Die Antwoord**, promising to deliver an exhilarating experience.

Heavy metal enthusiasts will have their senses ignited at the **Masters of Rock** festival (set for July 10 – July 13, 2025), featuring powerhouse bands like **Powerwolf**, **HammerFall**, **Apocalyptica**, and a special solo project from **Till Lindemann**, the frontman of **Rammstein**.
For aficionados of dance music, the **Beats for Love Ostrava** festival (taking place from July 2 to July 5, 2025) has a brilliant lineup, headlined by the legendary **Armin van Buuren**, a five-time winner of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll and creator of chart-topping hits like “Blah Blah Blah” and “This Is What It Feels Like.” The festival will also showcase Australian DJ **Timmy Trumpet**, along with the acclaimed DJ duo **Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike**, renowned for ruling Tomorrowland.

The **Brutal Assault** festival in Jaroměř (running from August 6 to August 9, 2025) promises an unforgettable experience within the unique confines of an 18th-century fort, featuring bands such as **3 INCHES OF BLOOD** from Canada and Texan metal outfit **ABSU**.
Meanwhile, at the **Benátská!s Impulsem!** festival (July 24 – July 27, 2025), festival-goers will be entertained by **Dave Stewart of EURYTHMICS feat. Vanessa Amorosi**, alongside **Liz Mitchell of Boney M**, who was the prominent voice of the group during its peak popularity in the 1970s and 1980s.
Closing out our recommendations is the scenic **Mighty Sounds** festival (happening from June 27 to June 29, 2025, at Airport Čápův Dvůr, Tábor), where fans can enjoy electrifying performances from punk legends like **Lagwagon** and California’s own **Mad Caddies**.
