Uncover the Mystery of Cinderella’s Slipper: Discover Exciting Adventures in Švihov!

The beloved fairy tale experience is set to start once again at Švihov Castle from 31 May, showcasing Cinderella – the mystery of Cinderella’s slipper. During June, it will be open to the public every Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. In the busy summer months of July and August, the hours will be extended, and the exhibition will be available from Tuesday through Sunday.

This exhibition is especially designed for children, who can enjoy walking through the displays alongside Rozarka the owl. They will have the chance to solve simple mysteries and answer fun riddles found throughout the exhibition. Adults who appreciate this classic fairy tale will also have plenty to enjoy. Visitors can explore the original script from the film, gaze at behind-the-scenes photos, check out film excerpts, and watch some iconic movie scenes as well. And, of course, don’t forget to try on Cinderella’s famous slipper!

Cinderella’s Circle is arranged across four levels of the White Bastion, which guests can access through a special entrance located right in the large castle courtyard. The tour is self-guided and does not include a guide’s narration, allowing visitors to embark on their own adventure in uncovering the mystery of the slipper. Throughout the exhibition, you will find Vincka on a quest with magic nuts, Cinderella near the brook, scenes of Cinderella in her cozy cottage with Rozarka the owl, a lively scene from a best shooter competition, a view of the kitchen where a clumsy cook is busy, a peek into the parlor filled with piles of fabric for dresses, an engaging moment of peas being sorted in the ashes, the vibrant royal ball, and not to be missed, the memorable finale featuring the slipper and ring…
