Chill Out Zones Established in Brno’s Heart

Relax zones are set up each year by the Brno-střed district for people living in and visiting Brno. A large number of sun loungers can be found at Green Market, where there are 120 loungers in total. Other popular spots are Liberty Square and Dominican Square. Comfortable seating will not only be available in the streets but also in the courtyard of Brno City Hall, where the summer cinema is traditionally held during the summer break.

Enjoyable seating will stay in the city center at least until the end of September. If the weather is nice, the seating arrangement might continue even longer. People passing by can relax in the deckchairs every day from 10:00 to 22:00. The hours of operation may change based on the weather conditions. The Brno-Central district staff takes care of placing and maintaining the seating. During the busy summer tourist season, an extra 300 deckchairs will be added to public spaces as needed by the City Hall.
