Join the excitement at the Bell Fair: A Vibrant Gathering of Potters and Tinkers

At the Bell Fair in Rožnov, over sixty skilled artisans, including potters, ceramicists, wireworkers, jewelers, and beekeepers, will showcase products from across Moravia. This year, the fair will also welcome artisans from Slovakia and Poland.
Attendees are encouraged to bring along old pottery and have it wired by the wireworkers present at the event. Kids will have a chance to participate in fun workshops and learn some wireworking skills themselves.
The fair will also feature a strong cultural program. For instance, at noon, there will be an organ concert by Linda Sítková held at St. Anne’s Church. Then at 2 PM, the Mistříňanka brass band will perform in the chamber amphitheater. The entire event will be enriched by the traditional Gaydos music played by Josef Pacula.
The Bell Fair has been a cherished tradition at the Wallachian Open Air Museum for over 40 years, starting back in 1981. Throughout the years, it has gone through several name changes, ultimately settling on the name Bell Fair. Some guests may recall it being called Pottery Saturday or I have a heart like honey.
