towerAfter 15 years in operation, the power plants at Tower Tower have become a natural part of the region, and most locals and visitors have come to accept them as a normal sight. However, wind energy still remains a topic filled with many misconceptions in the Highlands. Therefore, since these plants began operating, ČEZ has regularly welcomed the public to tour the local turbines. The company believes that by experiencing the site firsthand, visitors can form a better understanding of the technology and ease some of their concerns. They offer tours of the facilities as well as discussions with community members and industry experts.

Wind power plants are a significant issue in the Highlands, as the entire Czech Republic is focused on transforming its energy sector by replacing older coal-fired plants with cleaner, green energy sources. The Highlands benefit from suitable wind conditions, and several municipalities are exploring the possibility of building additional wind turbines.
