Discover the Exciting New Short Route at Výpustek Cave

Short route in the Výpustek Cave lasts around 40 minutes, following paved paths and is fully accessible for wheelchairs, so families with children can also navigate it with a stroller. This shorter, wheelchair-friendly path is designed to allow visitors who might not be keen on the military shelter or don’t have enough time for a longer tour to enjoy the Outlet. The cave’s lighting has been adjusted to enhance its stunning beauty. Additionally, there is a space for concerts inside – it is the largest concert hall located in caves throughout the country. This short route is particularly well-suited for families with kids and is enriched with many natural and historical attractions.

During the summer vacation period, from July 1 to August 31, the Výpustek Cave is open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The final tour departs at 4:00 p.m., giving you the chance to schedule your visit for the later part of the afternoon. If you are interested in military history, be sure to take the option to tour the fallout shelter, which remains part of the usual Long Tour, available during the same hours.

Bruno the Bear and the mystery of the cave

Every holiday Monday and Thursday, there are special tours for children titled “Bruno the Bear and the Time Machine“, which are a hit among little visitors aged four to ten. However, due to limited availability, it’s necessary to book tickets ahead of time for the kids.

There is also a unique experience route called “Behind the mystery of the Výpustek Cave“, where visitors can explore areas of the cave that are usually closed off. Participants wear helmets, headlamps, and kneepads, and in some spots, they even crawl on all fours. Tickets for this experience also need to be purchased online in advance.

Additionally, visiting the cave provides a refreshing escape from the summer heat. Parking for visitors is completely free within the enclosed area of the cave.
