Dive into the Vibrant Summer Hues by the Lake in Poděbrady
This year, the 24th annual music festival, called Colours of Summer, is happening in Poděbrady on Friday and Saturday from July 11 to 12, 2025. You will get the chance to enjoy top Czech music groups in the beautiful area of Jezeře. There will also be a fun series of events, a vibrant party on Friday for those who want to dance, and even a run called Magor’s Ten specifically for kids and adults!
The Friday, July 11 event will carry the punk vibe, following the theme “Oldpunks don’t get old.” Bands like E!E, SPS, PLEXISovjanka, Nežfaleš, and VHS will perform. On Friday, food and drink stalls will be open, so you can easily find something to eat or drink! You can also camp overnight in a tent city, which is provided for free. On Saturday July 12, more bands will join the festival, including Tři sestry, Trautenberk, MIG 21, Vypsaná fiXa, Alkehol, Doctor P.P., Synové výčepu, and more… The entry fee is 600 CZK for Friday and 1200 CZK for Saturday. A pass for both days will cost 1400 CZK.
What other activities can you enjoy at the festival besides music?
For several years, the festival has also featured the Magorova desítka cross-country race. If you’re not into sports, you’ll find many exciting activities at the Colours of Summer, including dishes from different countries, a kids’ section, a relaxation area with a tea room, and stalls selling band merchandise, decorative and illuminated accessories, body painting, and a variety of other booths with taprooms and places to grab a bite or drink.
If you have trouble getting home afterward, there is an option for Camping throughout the festival in the nearby tent city, which is completely free. There will also be a designated area for children filled with fun attractions, ensuring your little ones have a blast!
