Experience an Action-Packed August on the Treetop Trail: Exciting Stuntmen, Music, and the Na Stojáka Show
In August, visitors can continue to enjoy activities at the Trail through the Treetops in the Giant Mountains every Monday, featuring raptors. On Tuesdays, there will be showcases of traditional crafts, Wednesdays will cater to those interested in Zoo in a suitcase, Thursdays will focus on learning about Krkonoše’s nature with an expert guide, and Fridays will be dedicated to storytelling. Additionally, there’s a special program for August. Every Wednesday evening, come and enjoy Twilight on the Trail, a magical experience where nature meets music as the sun sets. The evening will kick off with a guided walk by staff from the KRNAP Administration, who will explain the wonderful life of the night forest. Attendees will discover how wildlife adapts to darkness and what enchanting secrets the nocturnal world holds. At the observation tower’s peak, guests will enjoy a memorable mini-concert by the Trutnoforte string ensemble, performing familiar tunes in a unique style, enhancing the enchanting evening vibe. Since there are limited spots available for these evening events, it’s essential to book tickets in advance through the online shop.
Silent disco, stunt performances, and Na Stojáka
On Friday, August 8, in the evening, visitors can dance among the treetops at a special Silent Disco. At the top of the 43-meter observation tower, there will be performances from two DJs, each illuminated in a different color and playing various styles of music. Headphones allow guests to switch between the two channels, letting them choose the music that best fits their taste and mood. The headphones will light up in the same color as the DJ they are listening to. The event will take place at the top of the tower, where attendees can sip on a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while enjoying the unique combination of dance music and the stunning view of the setting sun and the starry sky over the Giant Mountains.
The entire weekend from August 8 to 10 will showcase stunt performances. Throughout the day, skilled stunt professionals will amaze visitors with various thrilling acts on the Trail. Guests will even have the chance to engage in a secure jump from a height. They can choose from three height levels based on their bravery: 10 meters, 20 meters, or for the real thrill-seekers, up to 30 meters. Under the careful watch of experienced professionals, guests will get to experience the exhilarating sensation of free fall and push their limits.
A week later, on Saturday, August 16, after a day filled with sports, a special evening of laughter and unforgettable moments awaits. The observatory at the Krkonoše Treetop Trail will feature a unique stand-up comedy event “On the Stand on the Trail” showcasing Daniel Čech, Dominik Heřman Lev, and Lukáš Pavlásek.
Summer competition continues
During the summer season, all guests have the opportunity to compete for prizes worth a total of 130,000 crowns. To join the competition, simply pick up a ticket from the ticket office at the entrance and receive a game card. After correctly answering the questions, submit it into the competition box.
