Experience the Stunning Glass Art and Jewelry Showcase: ‘Fragile Beauty’ Welcomes You to Jablonec
This year’s event, Fragile Beauty, gives visitors a special chance to explore an array of unique items crafted by Czech jewellery and glass companies. Alongside a wide selection of jewellery, glassworks, and festive decorations, the exhibition creates a welcoming environment for families to enjoy an entire day together. Every day at the summer stage, you can listen to exciting bands, and don’t miss the full version of the amazing Made in Jablonec 2025 fashion show, themed “Fashion without limits.”
Visitors will also find a packed schedule this year, featuring a demonstration of production techniques, headlined by the impressive mobile glass furnace and glass cutting displays. You will witness the art of making figurines right by the stove, along with techniques in blowing and painting glass shapes.
Manufacturers, designers and fashion show
The theme of glass and jewellery isn’t just for industry professionals and businesses; in the Liberec region, you can find companies ranging from Harrachov to Jablonec nad Nisou, and from Nový Bor to Kamenický Šenov. This represents a rich tradition, as well as the modern evolution of the region. It’s a beauty that every local woman should proudly wear. We should take pride in purchasing vases or glasses from our local glass producers, and enjoy beautiful glass Christmas decorations. The exhibition Fragile Beauty will showcase these lovely glass treasures created solely by Czech manufacturers.
Among the 52 manufacturers and designers participating this year, you can find names like Florián’s factory from Častolovice near Česká Lípa, AZ-Design studio located in Nový Bor, or Maria Horčičková, a well-known glass figurine artist. Other notable participants include Bijou Svět, Beadgame, JSB Bijoux, KuBeads, Preciosa, Ozdoba, Sklárna Harrachov, DT Glass, Crystalex, Jablobijoux, Lucid, Misamo, Perlex, and many more.
The accompanying programme will allow both adults and children to participate in various creative workshops, where they can create their own jewellery, paint Christmas ornaments, blow glass jars, make glass mosaics, or craft artificial flowers. On Saturday, 9 August 2025, guests will also enjoy the presentation of the finalists for Miss Czech Republic 2025. The cost of admission to the Fragile Beauty 2025 event is 120 CZK for adults, 100 CZK for seniors, and children under 15 can attend for free with their parents. The ticket is valid throughout the entire event and allows access to both the Eurocentre and the Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou.
