Escape Boredom at the Blueberry Feast in Mala Morávka!
Blueberry Feast is the largest holiday celebration held in Mala Morávka. During this event, the streets fill with hundreds of visitors who come to enjoy dumplings and many other delightful blueberry treats. One of the main attractions of the Blueberry Feast is the all-day event on Saturday, featuring a competition and entertainment program in the municipal park located in Mala Morávka.
This season, the Blueberry Express will not be running from Ostrava to Mala Morávka due to ongoing closures on the line between Milotice nad Opavou and Bruntál.
To ensure safe and easy movement for pedestrians between restaurants, a free shuttle bus service will operate on Saturdays and Sundays. This blueberry bus service will leave from the municipal park every hour, starting at 10:00 am for the first trip and concluding at 5:00 pm, with the last trip on Sundays at 3:00 pm. The accompanying program will also take place in the municipal Park in Mala Morávka, featuring a blueberry fair where you can purchase handmade crafts and various products, not just those made with blueberries. Be sure to try the blueberry beer from the Černá hora brewery, along with a variety of other drinks that come in both soft and spicy flavors. The local museum will also be open for visitors.
Event parking will be available for visitors at the meadow by the Malá Morávka bus stop located at Rychta near the intersection with Karlov pod Pradědem, as well as at the parking area at the DZ Oil filling station in front of Malá Morávka. The Bistro located at this “petrol station” is one of the official partners of the event and will have a special blueberry menu.
