The Náměšt’ na Hané Castle was constructed by Count Ferdinand Bonaventura Harrach between 1760 and 1763 in the trendy style of early classical baroque that includes French architectural influences. It is an early classical structure of French design situated in the heart of a circular park. Visitors can explore around 20 richly decorated rooms, each showcasing furniture from various historical periods. The walls and ceilings are adorned with floral artwork and decorative stucco. Of particular interest are the vast collections of Czech, Viennese, and Chinese porcelain. However, the most precious collection is the rare Meissen porcelain. Additionally, the castle features a remarkable Library that holds nearly three thousand books. There is also an exclusive exhibition of carriages that belonged to the bishops of Olomouc and the archbishops.
