Revitalize Your Summer: Pilsen’s Street Festival

Living StreetFrom August 15 to 23, 2025, the heart of the city will come alive again with the Festival on the Street. Visitors can expect an abundance of musical performances as well as exciting new activities in the accompanying program. This year, the festival will feature 8 stages and include more than 150 acts performing.

At Republic Square, attendees can enjoy concerts from the band Odyssea (Friday, August 15), the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra (Sunday, August 17), and on Monday, August 18, expect lively sets from Tata Bojs and Mr Lynx. In the middle of the festival, Scotch Machine Gun will perform on August 20, followed by Zooblasters on August 21, and finally, there will be a performance from Michal Šindelář with his band (August 22), along with Semtex and the Pilsen Voice Choir (August 22), Steven’s (August 23), Imagine Diamonds (August 23), and a DJKT Musical performance on the street (August 23 at 8:30 p.m.).

On the At the Gate stage, look forward to an evening of DJ funk with Celest & Charles (Tuesday, August 19) and vocal improvisation by Mirky Novak (Saturday, August 23). In Proluce, you will experience poetic tones from J. Hutka (Saturday, August 23), captivating jazz-folk with Mischa Leitch & Forehand (Sunday, August 17), and the energetic performance of Rambanbám in the Angel Music Bar on August 20 starting at 10:00 p.m.

What can we look forward to in this year’s accompanying program?

living streetThe accompanying program will be available for everyone every day of the festival, especially at Proluka, Křižík Sady, and the new stage at the Museum. Here, visitors can join in activities such as Dance on the Street, Reading on the Street, and Nonprofits on the Street. This year, in partnership with the Krasovsky Activity Center, kids can also join in sporting fun, and there’s an exciting new feature—a podcast studio. This studio will allow visitors to record their own podcast every festival day from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. With the aid of a host and professional equipment, participants can try their hands at creating podcasts, and those who enjoy their experience can use a voucher to visit the fully equipped studio in Krašovská after the festival.

Festival on the streetAdditionally, another festival partner, AC Heating, has organized a popular Pub Quiz. On both Saturdays of the festival (August 16 and 23), anyone can take part in a free general knowledge quiz, brimming with fun, challenges, and team spirit from 5:00 p.m. with prior registration.

For Children, besides sports activities, there will also be theater performances again in Proluka, featuring the very popular High swing or jugglers and acrobats from last year. The festival will also include a charitable aspect this year thanks to the ČEZ Foundation, featuring its Orange Wheel. Every visitor and passerby will have the opportunity to contribute to the festival on Sunday, August 17 from 3:00 p.m. until around 8:00 p.m. by taking a one-minute ride on handbikes in our orange trailer to support the Centre for Palliative and Supportive Medicine at the Medical Faculty in Pilsen and to assist the cultural initiatives of the Magdalena Kožená Foundation.
