Konopiště Castle is gearing up for a fantastic event program. Visitors can enjoy special guided tours, an enchanting night illuminated by candlelight, and medieval music accompanied by a fire show in the castle courtyard. There are 5 different tours available, and anyone who has a valid ticket will get free access to the Rose Garden. This garden will host the Rose Garden with greenhouses lit by farewell lights and torches. So, what tours can you look forward to this year? The first, titled The Splendour of Sunny Italy, focuses on notable members of the Este and Obizzi families, revealing interesting facts and mysteries from their lives. The second tour, The Mystery of the Comtesse Janessa, is filled with suspense as you explore ancient enigmas. There’s also a tour about Sophie, the cherished wife of the heir to the throne, highlighting her love story with the Archduke and their shared journey. The third option will take you into the private apartment of the Archduke’s family. For families with young children who might find the tour a bit intimidating, there’s a special adventure called Deep Underground Secrets. This tour dives into the castle’s deepest areas, searching for mystical creatures from fairy tales. Additionally, the Rose Garden with greenhouses in the light of farewell will feature a magical stroll through the beautifully lit garden and greenhouses, accompanied by the enchanting sounds of a piano concert. On the south terrace, discover the Alamode: Magic Night with unique candlelight tours. Step into a mystical realm filled with satyrs and nymphs, welcome the nobles and charming ladies, and immerse yourself in a night of delight with whimsical performances and gallant characters. Prepare to be amazed by a first-class aristocratic event that no one should overlook…
Křivoklát Castle is also preparing for its own Castle Night. This special experience will occur starting at 20:00, allowing guests to enjoy the castle at night. At Krakovec Castle, children are especially invited for a night tour with Leontine. Veltrusy Castle and Costumed Tours
Just as mountains unveil their wonders on Midsummer Night, so do Castle Nights at various castles and chateaus, allowing you a glimpse into their interiors and legends. Veltrusy Castle is no exception, welcoming you to witness events that, according to chroniclers, took place 250 years ago in 1775. You’ll hear tales that are rarely heard and might visit some hidden places not usually accessible… Costumed tours of the main castle buildings will start at 19:00, with tours conducted every 15 minutes. The last tour is set for 23:00. Be sure to book your tickets in advance, or buy them online. There is no parking on the castle premises, but the path from the town and the campsite will be illuminated by candles. Expect noisy pyrotechnic effects during the performance, and the show is suitable for children aged 12 and older.
