Nobility Graces the Chateau Festival at Hrádek u Nechanic

The Hrádek u Nechanic Chateau is set to reopen after a year, bringing back the cherished castle festivities. This exciting weekend will feature a courtyard filled with historical stalls showcasing colorful products. On Saturday, you can look forward to a variety of activities, including an impressive display by a master falconer and his birds, thrilling shows by fencers, and live music from a talented flute player. Additionally, attendees can enjoy the International Folk Festival called Meeting with Folklore. You can also participate in elegant Renaissance dances, “Fifty Shades of Fencing,” and traditional village dances.

During the entire celebration, the castle will remain open for visitors, allowing you to combine the festivities with a tour of the chambers occupied by the Counts and Countesses. Please note that entry to the castle courtyard on Saturday costs 60 CZK (entry is mandatory to access the castle). The historical Fair will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the evening will continue with Castle Nights from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. Experience the enchanting atmosphere of Hrádek u Nechanic with special evening tours! The tours available include: The splendour and glory of the Harrach, Personal life of the nobility, and Guest rooms. If the weather is nice, you can also climb the tower via the Chateau cellars.
