Radim Castle Transforms for Castle Night: Explore Every Nook from Cellar to Attic

Radim Chateau, situated between Kolín and Český Brod, is gearing up for Saturday 23 August 2025 as part of the exciting Castle Nights. Curious visitors can enjoy not only night tours but also a fairy-tale tour, costumed daytime tours, a fair, and creative workshops in the courtyard.

The castle features a working black kitchen, a Renaissance-style fridge, a white kitchen, and the lord governor’s office. Do you know how they used to find out if an innkeeper was cheating on guests? There’s also a grand feast hall, lovely chambers, and a spacious ballroom, which is a preferred venue for weddings.

Castle nights and tours occur at 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 pm. Along with a guide, you’ll visit a tasting in the black kitchen, where doughnuts will be fried and pies baked! At 20:30 and 21:30 in the evening, there will be a thrilling performance by the Fire Woman. If you don’t want to head home after the fun, you’re welcome to set up your tent in the castle park, with a campfire dinner in the courtyard making for a perfect summer night! Enjoy the unique experience filled with a mysterious atmosphere from past centuries. Immerse yourself in daily life, festive activities of the Renaissance, traditional cuisine, entertainment, and the roles of the guards in the armory. But be cautious not to end up in the castle’s prison or disturb the lord of the castle if you wander into his bedroom. The courtyard of the castle is set to be lively both day and night!
