The nature maze, inspired by Jan Amos Comenius’s book The labyrinth of the world and the paradise of the heart, invites you to come visit. You can enjoy wandering through the aisles of hornbeams, try to find the center, and make your way back without getting lost. It may seem simple, but you’ll be surprised at how challenging it can actually be! The design of the hornbeam maze is a simplified representation of a globe, where the main lines of longitude and latitude are subtly interrupted, making it tricky to navigate to and from the center.

Brandýské mamení is a long-standing event that brings together multiple generations over two days and nights, playfully blending visual art, music, theater, hands-on workshops, storytelling, and film screenings, all inspired by the ideas of J. A. Comenius. As with every year, there is a diverse program offering something for both children and adults. Kids can delight in fairy tales or get involved in creative workshops, while adults can appreciate art openings, theater shows, and live music.
