Join the Porsche Festival in Vratislavice nad Nisou: Celebrating 150 Years of Iconic Design

This event will host the largest collection of this brand’s sports cars in the country. The Porsche Festival will also celebrate the birthplace of Porsche cars.

Ferdinand Porsche, the visionary behind these vehicles, was born in Vratislavice nad Nisou 150 years ago, on September 3, 1875. His creative genius led to the development of various car brands, like Lohner, Austro-Daimler, Mercedes-Benz, Adler, Wanderer, VW-Kdf, and others. Along with his son Ferry, Ferdinand was pivotal in the early designs of Porsche sports cars.

PorscheThe main event of the festival takes place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, when you can expect a huge car exhibition that typically draws around 200 sports cars from various places, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and Poland.

Aside from classics, such as the Porsche 356, attendees will also see new models like the Porsche 911. There will even be special racing versions of these cars on display. Additionally, the event will feature typical food stalls with seating areas, enjoyable music, and a host who will present fascinating cars and interview their owners.

PorscheThe public program on Saturday is quite diverse, featuring car displays, engaging talks and screenings, exclusive tours, and demonstrations of both regular and racing Porsches. For owners of vintage cars, there will be a dedicated area showcasing their classic vehicles. This exhibition will also include a traditional competition for the oldest historic vehicle as well as awards for the most beautiful pre-war and post-war cars. Throughout the day, additional interesting side activities will take place.
