Discover Excitement at Písek’s Beer Festival: Sample Brews from Multiple Breweries and Banish Boredom!

Beer Festival is set to happen in Písek on Saturday, September 6, 2025, marking its sixth occurrence, and it will be outdoors in Palacký sady. You can look forward to more than twenty breweries—many of which are new and exciting—showcasing their beer on tap and offering around sixty different types of beer. In addition to beer and tasty food, there will be several cocktail bars, wine stands, and even some coffee from Travel cafe Písek.

If you enjoy good food, you’ll definitely find something tasty here. This event is perhaps the only one in South Bohemia where you can sample such a wide variety of high-quality food from food trucks and stalls. You can savor delicious burgers along with dishes from Vietnamese, Thai, and Mexican cuisines. You’ll also find tender meats with various flavors, meals with chili, and vegetarian options are plentiful, leaving visitors both surprised and pleased with the diverse offerings.

The Beer Festival largely celebrates beer, and this year, attendees will have the chance to sample even more beers than in previous years. Most of these will be Czech specialties from small and medium-sized breweries. There will also be a good number of popular ciders available. Kids won’t be left out either, as there’s always a rich program of workshops and games designed just for them.

The beer festival is free to attend, including the concerts featuring many bands that will last until 1:00 a.m. Performers include Goddesses from Volyn, Low Level, Racing Sheep, Shoes in the Canal, Plan B, D-lay, Detrofox, Permanent, Deaf Heart, Brixtn, The Rocket Dogz, plus DJs Ivo and Buqi taking over at midnight.
