Autumn’s Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week Has Arrived!
The SaSaZu venue will come alive with fashion events from 4 to 10 September 2025. Visitors will be part of the Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week SS 26, where they can enjoy exciting runway shows and galas tied to popular lifestyle magazines. The fall edition promises three days of spectacular shows showcasing both well-established designers and promising new talent.
During these three exciting days, the lively atmosphere will include the special Day Lounge and an evening lounge called Night lounge, both hosted by SaSaZu. Access to these lounges, featuring a unique menu crafted by the SaSaZu restaurant, will require a reservation. More details can be found on the official event website. From Saturday, 6 September to Wednesday, 10 September 2025, there will be showrooms, cocktails, and opportunities to meet designers, along with activities focused on local and eco-friendly fashion. The event will culminate in the traditional MBPFW closing party that is open to everyone.
Three days of fashion and design
The MBPFW SS26 will kick off on Thursday, 4 September with an early evening show presenting collections from Sure Curated by Alexander Bel, which collaborates with the high-end jewelry brand Furiosa®. Also, there will be a showcase by designer Alexandra Gnidiak, a graduate from UMPRUM in Slovakia. The opening gala evening, hosted under the auspices of ELLE, will feature Tomáš Němec, and guests are encouraged to dress in all black, with bold red lips.
The holder of the Van Graaf Junior Talent Card 2025, Tomas Visnovsky, who won the Van Graff Junior Talent 2025 competition, will be presenting his new designs on Friday, 5 September during the afternoon of the second day, along with the UMPRUM Graduate Show. This showcase will feature talents such as Adela Greta Holušková, Barbara Horáková, Barbara Tomalová, and Magdalena Seppová. After the afternoon session, there will be an evening show featuring designers Hana Valtová and Valérie Jurčíková, with support from media partner Harper’s Bazaar. The gala evening on the second day of the show, partnered with Dolce Vita magazine and Douglas perfumery, will highlight Petra Ptáčková’s collection, which is inspired by her experience as a stuntwoman and emphasizes both sustainability and freedom of movement.
Saturday, 6 September, marks the third day of this exciting showcase, which will kick off with emerging talents from art colleges, including UMPRUM Fashion Design students and those from the Technical University of Liberec. The afternoon will also see a fashion brand Kalfar celebrating its fifth year at MBPFW, showcasing a blend of fashion and environmental awareness. Designer Jiří Kalfař draws inspiration from his ballet background, which influences the graceful movement of his designs. The final evening of the MBPFW SS26 show will feature Jana Horejšová and her brand On The Boat, addressing the concerns associated with fast fashion, with assistance from event partner Ploom.
The autumn edition will conclude with the MBPFW Gala x Vogue Czechoslovakia Runway. In partnership with Vogue Czechoslovakia, designer Aleš Hnátek will unveil a collection inspired by meticulous material handling that informs his designs. The evening will also include a ceremony to honor the winner of the Vogue CS Talent 2025 Award along with a vibrant music and dance performance by Vogue CS x Dogga Clan.
