Revitalize the Czech Republic! Participate in the Exciting Autumn Clean-Up Event!

The event organizers from Czech Union of Nature Conservationists and the group Let’s clean up the Czech Republic have created an application for not just volunteers, but also for everyone, showing the closest spots to properly dispose of waste and give items a new purpose. This is important to stop waste from ending up in landfills or, even worse, in nature, where volunteers then have to clean it up unnecessarily.

Let’s Clean Up the Czech Republic is a volunteer clean-up initiative that takes place across the Czech Republic and even in some areas beyond its borders. Its main goal is to remove illegal dumps and litter. Central to this effort are the volunteer organizers of local clean-ups who take charge and plan a clean-up in a location they select.

These organizers ensure the event runs smoothly from start to finish. Ukliďme Česko can provide them with sturdy bags for the trash collected and all other necessary tools throughout the year. Support is available for them as well. The organizers coordinate a group of volunteers who gather at the site to clean together.

Participants in the clean-ups come from all parts of the Czech Republic. This includes school kids, politicians, government employees, scouts, children in orphanages, college students, retirees, programmers, doctors, shopkeepers, environmentalists, tourists, dog owners, punks… basically anyone you can think of. However, the goal of this broader campaign is not only cleaning up, but also to promote awareness about reducing waste and effective waste management.
