Join the Fun: The Karel Zeman Museum Marks 13 Years of Creativity and Celebration!
Karel Zeman Museum birthday celebration is happening from Friday, October 3 to Sunday, October 5 2025. Join Sailor Sinbad for an exciting adventure! He will be at the Karel Zeman Museum for a festive celebration, inviting you to embark on a journey through the enchanting realm of the Tales of the Thousand and One Nights. Here, you will encounter wealthy sultans, stunning princesses, a flying carpet, and even a magical genie! Everyone is welcome to step into this fairy-tale world over the full three days from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can attend if you have a valid museum ticket, which is available for purchase at the box office or online, where you can enjoy a 10% discount.
On this amazing expedition, you will explore a total of nine islands that Sinbad has visited. Each island has a unique task for you to complete. If you manage to finish them all, a special reward will be waiting for you at the end of your adventure. Get ready to discover the tunnel of terror, try your skills at archery, or experience flying on a carpet. You can also search for lost pearls and participate in various themed creative workshops or an Oriental dance workshop, along with many more surprises!
As a birthday present, the museum has gifted itself and its visitors a restored version of the animated Tales of the Thousand and One Nights, which will soon be shown in cinemas in the Czech Republic. Additionally, efforts are being made to restore more films by Karel Zeman, which will also be released shortly. So make sure to come and join in; it will be an unforgettable experience.
