Štěpán Maňák Winery can be found in Žádovice, a charming town in South Moravia. It draws in visitors with its exceptional wines and a variety of exciting events. These events feature activities like open winery days, wine and chocolate tastings, summer barbecues, a bourbon tour, and special celebrations for Valentine’s Day at the winery. This year, the winery successfully retained its title from last year. The wines produced by Maňák Winery have received numerous awards both in the Czech Republic and internationally, frequently participating in the most renowned competitions, especially in Europe. The Maňák winery opened its doors in 1992 and currently manages over 10 hectares of vineyards along with a contemporary cellar housing 40 wooden barrels.
This year’s silver award went to Habánské sklepy, a wine shop, while ZD Sedlec (known for Sedlecká vína) received the bronze. Additionally, the National Wine Centre awarded a prize to Resort Valtberg. For the fifth consecutive year, a special category was introduced where Champion destinations faced off against each other, specifically those that have won three medals in past years. In this category, the title of TOP Wine Target Champion 2025 was awarded to Bohemia Sekt Visitor Centre.

The TOP wine destination guide serves as an online resource filled with fascinating places that offer their guests a blend of wine enjoyment and unique experiences. These locations can include wineries, cellar lanes, wine bars, guesthouses, or even restaurants that specialize in wine. Currently, the guide features 239 destinations spread across the Czech Republic, showcasing areas from Beskydy to Sokolov and from Šumava to Krkonoše, with updates occurring regularly. A dedicated team of eleven knowledgeable experts created the guide based on their personal experiences at these sites.
You can easily identify a TOP wine destination on-site by stickers featuring a logo. Furthermore, every year, the public votes for their favorite among these destinations, with the voting period open from early June to the end of September. Annually, around 20,000 votes are cast.
