Get Ready to Ignite Your Senses at Chilli Fest – Pilsner Brewery Joins the Heat to Banish Boredom!
Have you ever tasted spices like berber, dukkah, harissa, gomasio, khmeli suneli, garam masala, or adobo? At Chilli Fest, happening at the Pilsner Urquell Brewery in Pilsen, you’ll savor dishes made with these spice mixtures that have been enjoyed for many years. You can expect a wide selection of peppers, ranging from classic Hungarian peppers to pepperoni, jalapeño, Piri piri, Habanero, Tabasco, Ancho, and the spiciest pepper on Earth, the Carolina Reaper.
Come and experience the exciting flavors of hot peppers, jalapeños, habaneros, and more, and prepare yourself for a completely flavorful and thrilling day.
You can look forward to a wonderful varied program throughout the day, featuring an Australian-New Zealand butchery demonstration, a barber and tattoo show, and, of course, a thrilling extreme chilli eating challenge.
Challenging market and fierce competition
A part of the Festival will feature a hot sauce market, along with spices and herbs. You’ll also discover some unique sweet treats that will impress you with their creativity. Come try spicy foods, various Asian street food specialties, specialty drinks, and buy chili sauces and growing supplies from more than 30 stalls. The famous traditional chili eating competition will also be hosted here. This is the perfect spot to gather supplies for winter, as you can take home spicy sauces, ingredients, and tools for growing your own chili plants.
Pilsner Brewery has teamed up with Automat Brewery Matushka to create a special chili beer! Several unique brews will be available on tap: Semi-dark smoked lager 13, Session IPA with coconut 11, and Gose with yuzu and ginger 12. You can only find these special brews at the Elektrárna stand. The festival takes place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in the brewery courtyard, running from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The ticket price is 100 CZK (children under 12 years old, the disabled, and pensioners can enter for free).
