Illuminate Your Boredom: Experience the Enchanting Crystal Garden in Troja with Lights, Video Mapping, and a Mesmerizing Glass Symphony!

The second edition of the exhibition Crystal Garden will feature completely new art installations created by Jiří Pachinko’s team, alongside popular items that were showcased in the first year and won hearts. Visitors can look forward to seeing colorful glass flowers and animal sculptures that beautifully contrast with the winter scenery. This year, for the very first time, these stunning works will be displayed not only in the Ornamental Gardens but also in the Exhibition Hall and St. Clare’s Vineyard. The exhibition promises a unique visual and musical experience. By day, you can admire the vibrant beauty of glass illuminated by sunshine, and in the evening, enjoy a spectacular display of lights, shadows, and sounds during the night tours.
Evening programme: music, light, image and emotion
The Crystal Garden exhibition will be accompanied by a special musical performance featuring PKF – Prague Philharmonia, transporting visitors into an enchanting glass universe. The bespoke musical score for this exhibition evokes the feeling of being on a different planet – a fantastical realm filled with glass flowers. Jindřich Pavliš, a clarinet player in the orchestra, is carefully crafting the order of these pieces. Each composition is seamlessly connected and thoughtfully arranged to form a cohesive musical experience. The evening segment of the exhibition will also feature a stunning audiovisual project, created in collaboration with the Botanical Garden Prague and the Design and Digital Technologies Studio from the Academy of Arts and Design in Prague.
Students from UMPRUM, guided by Jan Netušil and Jiří Hölzel, will create an original 3D video mapping on St. Clare’s Chapel, giving visitors a mesmerizing experience featuring depth, ambiance, and enjoyment. For the very first time, this historic location in the Vineyard will become a stunning canvas for this exceptional artistic display through digital art. The combination of illuminated gardens, glass creations, musical performances, and digital projections will provide an unforgettable experience. The Crystal Garden exhibition is under the auspices of the Czech Commission for UNESCO, highlighting its artistic and cultural importance.
