Unique Evening Tours Draw Visitors to Svojanov Castle
On two special days in October, Svojanov Castle will celebrate intriguing characters from its past. There will be both afternoon and evening tours available, focusing on the fascinating legends connected to the castle’s history. These characters will be brought to life on October 24 and 25, 2025.
For those who want to explore the castle in the evening, the “Shadows of Svojanov” event guarantees an exciting and mysterious experience. The preparations for this event are based on local tales and folklore that are specifically tied to Svojanov and can be performed. During your visit, you’ll witness scenes that reflect the captivating local legends and eerie stories.
Guided Tours from Afternoon to Night…
On Friday and Saturday, tours will be available at these times: 18:00, 18:45, 19:30, 20:15, 21:00, 21:45, and 22:30. While the Castle Administration aims to accommodate every visitor, it is definitely wiser to book a tour ahead of time. Svojanov Castle is open in October daily, except on Mondays, from 9am to 5pm. It will also be open on weekends until December 15, from 10am to 5pm. The castle will be closed from December 19 through February 28.
