Don’t Miss the Prague Haunted Parade on November 1!

Haunted Prague ParadeThe annual Prague Haunted Parade will take place in Prague on the eve of Souls’ Day, just like it does every year. Everyone is invited—whether you want to dress up as a ghost or simply watch as a spectator, come to 6:00 p.m. at the Powder Tower. This parade of ghosts includes storytelling, chanting slogans, the sound of the trumpeting of the Prague ponocny, and even spectacular fire displays from the devil. It will wind its way through the beautiful Old Town along the famous Royal Route, before continuing across the scenic Charles Bridge to reach Lesser Town Square.

Along the banks of the Vltava River, watermen will join the event, appearing from boats and the river to accompany the parade through the streets of Lesser Town on its journey to Lesser Town Square, where participants will hold a brief prayer for the souls that have not found peace. Make sure to bring a bell with you! Everyone is welcome to wear costumes, but it’s completely fine to come in regular clothes too. Join in the fun and shout along with the ghosts: No spirit or shadow in Prague is interested in celebrating Halloween; let’s take down the pumpkin, blow out the candle, and rejoice in Soulstice.
