Farewell to Summer: Discover Hlučín

The 53rd edition of the notable KČT event called Behind the Last Blister will take place this time in the Moravian-Silesian region, specifically in Hlučín and nearby areas. This location is significant as 2025 marks 80 years since the conclusion of World War II. The region between Opava and Ostrava was where a crucial military operation occurred to free the industrial area of Ostrava and aided in the defeat of German forces in Central Europe. Historically, this area was also part of the Amber Route, an ancient trade pathway linking northern Europe to the Mediterranean. Hlučín itself is rich in history and offers beautiful landscapes perfect for hiking and exploration.
The schedule for the tourist event Behind the Last Blister 2025 taking place from 14 – 17 November 2025 will be filled with numerous exciting locations and activities. On Friday, 14 November 2025, Peace Square will host farmers’ markets, kicking off with an opening ceremony, a concert featuring the band What I Play and the group Forfolk, and a discussion with M. Stiller on the topic From Life in a Mountain Hut.
