This year, they’re rolling out 1.9 million bottles of St. Martin’s wine! The new 2025 vintage mainly offers white wines (152 samples), followed by rosé and claret (92), and red wines (79). Notable varieties include Müller Thurgau (81), Muscat of Moravia (51), and Veltliner Red Early (20). The rosé selection mostly features Zweigeltrebe (41) and St. Lawrence (38), while the red wines are highlighted by Blue Portugal (58) and St. Lawrence (21).

This year, the St. Martin’s Market will present a tasting of 100 different wines from winemakers in Moravia and Bohemia. Enjoy some delightful dulcimer music while in the nearby stalls, where you can find themed refreshments. Admission for this exciting event is 80 CZK, which includes a glass, a catalogue, and a rechargeable chip that can be loaded with any amount for purchasing wine samples. A sample of wine (0.05 dcl) costs 15 CZK. Even though St Martin’s Day falls on a Tuesday this year, the Wine Fund has enabled the sale of St Martin’s wines starting Friday, November 7 to better serve visitors and restaurants, allowing winemakers to benefit from the weekend crowd. With the first bottles released, the St. Martin’s Day celebrations will kick off nationwide and continue until the end of the month.
