Discover Exciting Christmas Markets in Olomouc: Punch Trail, Ice Skating, and a Spectacular Observation Wheel
This year’s 
Olomouc Christmas Markets is introducing several exciting new features. The markets will be back in full swing starting from 4 November 2024. This year, you can enjoy the ice rink alongside an observation wheel and various food stalls in the main marketplace. Besides offering free skating for schools and the general public, the organizers are also planning several fun events on the ice. Once again, The popular Punch Trail invites visitors to explore different Christmas drinks available at venues across the two squares and the marketplace.
This year, the Christmas tree in the heart of Olomouc will be beautifully unique, featuring a silver fir tree. The decorated tree in the Upper Square will be lit officially on Sunday, November 23. at 6 p.m. Following the lighting, singer Natálie Tichánková will perform with the band 4GOODS, along with a special appearance by the Pelčata Children’s Choir. Throughout the market, there will be various concerts, showcasing bands such as Tak co?, Fly Tomorrow, and Blues Power. You can also catch legendary Czech music artists like Turbo, Poutníci, and Kamelot, with revival bands performing hits by Elán, Queen, Miró Žbirka, and Bryan Adams.The Christmas Market will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will feature various handcrafted goods for sale, along with delicious treats. You can find items like cheese, Honey, and sausage specialties.
