Experience the Enchanting Christmas Spirit at Stránov Chateau in Jizerní Vtelně Near Mladá Boleslav This Weekend

Are you looking to dive into a magical tale about a chef and a cook who are in love? Your dream can become a reality at the rooms of a beautifully decorated for Christmas Stránov Castle, where all the preparations for Christmas Eve are already in full swing. You can participate in the fun too!
You can lend a hand to the cook while she bakes cookies and sample her delightful Christmas treats. Help in adorning the Christmas tree, discover the significance of the Advent wreath on our table, and learn what traditional holiday dishes are served. Alongside the prince and princess, you can light the Advent candle, slice an apple, and join in singing a Christmas carol. In the castle chambers, which sparkle with festive decorations, you will assist the cook in baking cookies and enjoy her soft Christmas cake. The chef will share stories about the traditional meals enjoyed in the castle, and you’ll help decorate the tree while discovering the reasons we display the Advent wreath on the table.
With the Prince and Princess, you will participate in lighting the Advent candle, cutting an apple, and singing a festive carol. You will also tour the chapel of the chateau, where you and the priest will take a moment at the midnight mass to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Along with a smiling minister, everyone will create a little keepsake to remember this special outing.
The splendid Neo-Renaissance chateau Stránov is perched high above the Skalský brook close to the village of Jizerní Vtelno, roughly 12 kilometers away from Mladá Boleslav towards Mělník. In 1917, the castle was acquired by the president of Škoda Works and a senator, Josef Šimonek, who lived there with his family until the nationalization in 1950. A significant portion of the castle is currently undergoing renovations, and various events take place here throughout the year.
