The cozy atmosphere will be enhanced by Punch made from a special recipe from Krňovice, along with mead, kuba, sweet treats, and bread baked in a historic oven. There will also be tasty marmalades made from unusual fruits. If you’re bringing kids along, they can join in the workshops to make a small gift or Christmas decoration. The event will run on both days from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission costs 150 CZK for adults and 100 CZK for children.

Christmas in KrňoviceDuring your visit, you can explore the buildings at the open-air museum in Krňovice and see their interiors filled with historical exhibits. A strong emphasis is placed on how all the exhibits function, and many of them can be tried out while you walk through the museum.

However, please note that if you are expecting a busy market or fair, you might be let down. The Advent weekend is all about enjoying a peaceful atmosphere before the holidays, rather than the hustle and bustle that comes with many stalls. Of course, there will be tasty treats to buy and refreshments available. You can park your car either right at the open-air museum or at the restaurant in Krňovice—both options are free of charge. Be cautious if the ground is wet or muddy; it may become difficult to drive through the meadow near the open-air museum. It’s advisable to park near the pub in the village, which is about 200 meters away from the museum.
