Vysočina Arena in Nové Město na Moravě Kicks Off Ski Season

Vysočina Arena, located near Nové Město na Moravě, has officially started ski season 2025. You can enter the ski trails from the paved area below the Office Area. If you’re looking for the exact public hours schedule, you can find it on the website of Vysočina Arena. Access to the tracks and stadium during public hours is completely free.
Additionally, there are preparations underway for the January Biathlon World Cup. This means that in the upcoming weeks you will see heavy equipment and the construction of temporary facilities happening on site.
A series of ski circuits is currently being developed at Vysočina Arena based on the snowfall conditions. The ski area features a network of tracks that supports snowmaking using technical snow. When the snow conditions are perfect, the paths lead directly to winter hiking trails in the Novoměstsko ski area, which are usually maintained by machines.
Every year, Vysočina Arena hosts important sporting events on a global level, including the Biathlon World Cup, the Ski World Cup, and the Mountain Bike World Cup. A key event happening in 2026 is the Biathlon World Cup, scheduled for January 22 to January 25, 2026.
