The City is Set to Welcome a Grand Sporting Spectacle

The exciting running event Winter Run Hradec Králové promises participants an enjoyable experience through running races held in the city center. The race course is officially recognized by the Czech Athletics Federation.

The course for the running event will be either 8.6 km or 4.3 km long, stretching from Smetanovo nábřeží to Plácky. The events will start on Saturday, 10 January at 10:00 a.m. with the children’s race. Adult participants will follow, starting with the 4 km run at 11:00 a.m. and the 8 km run along with a 2 x 4 km relay at 12:00 p.m.. You can sign up at the Bikero shop or even just before the race at the Náplavka restaurant, where tasty snacks will also be available.

If large events aren’t your thing, you might prefer to explore the city forests near Hradec Králové. There, you can enjoy running, walking, and find nature trails, such as the Galactic and Planetary trails.
