Discover the Magic of Spring at the National Stud Farm in Kladruby nad Labem

KladrubyHorse enthusiasts don’t have to wait until the main tourist season starts. They can enjoy the pleasant weather and visit as early as February. In Kladruby nad Labem, there are guided tours available that cover the main stables, the royal castle, an exhibition featuring historic carriages, and the breeding of Old Kladruby horses. If you’re fortunate, you might see this year’s new foals.

In Slatiňany, visitors can go on a tour of the stud farm, which includes visiting both the stables that house black horses and the carriage house along with the princely tack room of the Auerspergs.

The gates of both stud farms open at 10:00 a.m., and the last tours start at 3:00 p.m. Entry fees are based on a standard pricing list (Kladruby charges CZK 260 for adults, CZK 170 for discounts, and CZK 780 for families; Slatiňany charges CZK 180/110/490). We suggest buying tickets online through the website.

Daily tours are offered during the holidays in the Pardubice and Chrudim regions from 9 to 15 February 2026, at the locations of the stud farms. If your holidays do not align perfectly, there’s no need to worry, as winter tours are also available. These include trips to both the Kladruby nad Labem Stud Farm and the Slatiňany Stud Farm, and run from Wednesday through Friday until the end of March. Tours kick off every hour on the hour from 10:00 to 14:00.
