Discover Valeč Castle after dark

You can visit Valeč Castle without a guide during a self-guided tour, with all the necessary information provided by the information centre and café located in the renovated building of the former laundry. There you can also borrow various guide materials. If you are interested in a guided tour, you can arrange it in advance by calling 725 524 129.

However, do not expect a traditional castle exhibition. During the tour, you can see the current state of the castle interiors. Castle tours take place on Fridaysand Saturdaysfrom 11:00 to 23:00 and on Sundaysfrom 11:00 to 18:00. In addition, night tours are available on Fridays and Saturdays until 11:00 pm. Admission for adults is CZK 220, for seniors, children and young people CZK 180, and for children under 15 only CZK 70.

The park is freely accessible throughout the year until dusk. The Baroque appearance of the park is adorned with sculptures and statues by Matyáš Bernard Braun, which include a theatre, a greenhouse, illusory gates, a summer house and the remains of Baroque cascades. You can see the original sculptures in the local Lapidarium. The sculptures depicting human characteristics and figures from ancient mythology are displayed in various changing light and music atmospheres, so you can enjoy the tour “day and night”, “during a storm” or “in a gale”…
