Veteran holidays: Exchanges, enchanting rides and events with magnificent cars

March: Retro Garage in Lysá nad Labem
Visit Lysá nad Labem, where Retro Garage, a trade fair and sales exhibition focused on vintage cars and all vehicles from the past, will take place on 28 March.
April: Fairs in Brno and Kroměříž, or meetings in Chvaly and Hostivař in Prague
On the first Sunday in April, 5 April, you can head to the Exhibition Centre in Kroměříž, where the traditional Auto-Moto Flea Market and vintage car meet are held. Everything related to motoring is available there – spare parts, components for agricultural machinery, antiques and collectibles from the military and fire service. Admission for adults is CZK 70, and children under 150 cm tall are admitted free of charge.
On 18 April, you can visit Písek, where the sixth annual Spring Classic is taking place. The RetroAutoMuzeum in Strnadice is kicking off the season on the same day.
In Brno, you can visit the Exhibition Centre, where VeteránTechna, one of the largest historic vehicle exchanges, will take place on Saturday, 25 April.
In Horní Počernice, near Prague, the Veteran Party will take place on 25 April, this time for the thirteenth time. The Chvalská tvrz complex will open its gates at 8 a.m. You can look forward to a parade of historic cars and motorcycles built before 1970, a ride on a historic bus, music and refreshments.
On the same day, 25 April, the 200 km Czechoslovakia Rally will take place. The organisers promise a rich programme and a new route.
You can also visit the Automobile Jewels exhibition, which will take place from 25 to 26 April at the golf course in Prague-Hostivař. The exhibition will feature rare cars not only from the past but also from the present. On Sunday, 26 April, you can also take a trip to Přerov. After the exhibition, the cars will head to Helfštýn Castle.
May: Histo Cup in Brno, Americans Among Cellars, Český Krumlov Rally and Legends at the Prague Exhibition Grounds
On 1 May, you can head to Blovice to see historic cars at the sixth annual Revival Rallye Úslava. From 9:00 a.m., the cars will be on display at TGM Square, and an hour later they will set off on the route, returning to the square again at 3:00 p.m. On that day, you will also be able to see vintage cars at Slezkoostravský Castle.
On the weekend of 8 to 10 May, the Histo Cup races will take place at
Masaryk Circuit in Brno. You can look forward to races featuring legendary racing cars from the second half of the 20th century. On Saturday, 9 May, the Křivonoska Rally is also planned, which takes place near Hluboká nad Vltavou, or you can visit Točník.
Between 15 and 17 May, you have the opportunity to visit the charity event Ameriky mezi sklepy (America Among the Cellars) in Mutěnice, which will feature vintage cars and military equipment. On Saturday, 16 May, you can once again head to Třeboň to see vintage cars. A gathering of historic vehicles will take place on TGM Square in Prostějov on 17 May.
The following weekend, 22 and 23 May, will see the Český Krumlov Rally, which includes the Rallye Legendy Show exhibition. This is the eighteenth year of the exhibition of historic competition vehicles, which drive through the speed trial tracks, but without timing. And on 24 May, you can visit a celebration of historic vehicles in Dobřichovice called Veterans under the Castle.
From 29 May to 31 May, the largest motor show, Legends 2026, awaits you at the Exhibition Grounds in Holešovice, Prague. On an area of over 180,000 m², you will have the opportunity to see many gems from the past and present. A basic ticket costs CZK 690.
On Sunday, 31 May,you can check out the vintage car meet in front of E-Motion Park in Ostrava.
The vintage car ride under Ještěd traditionally takes place at the end of May, but it will not be held in 2026. The date for the meet at Benešov nad Ploučnicí Castle, which should take place in May, has not yet been set.
June: legendary Jawas, exhibitions and a long race through the Czech Republic
On Saturday, 6 June, visit the vintage cars at Kravaře Castle, from where they will then set off for the Prajzská Rally. On the first Sunday in June, 7 June, you can also head to the vintage car meeting at Kovozoo Staré Město. The programme will be very rich and starts at 9 a.m. On 13 June, enjoy the pilgrimage to Svatý Hostýn, where motorists will be blessed, and other activities await you.
The 11th annual meeting of Jawa friends, which is an exhibition of famous
Peric, Kyvak, Panelka and other historic motorcycles and cars of various origins, will take place on Saturday, 13 June, at the Ledec swimming pool in the Hradec Králové region. On the same day, there will also be a meeting in Lobč.
On the weekend of 12 to 14 June, the third annual Mercedes-Benz – Pivobraní will take place, a meeting of owners of vintage, youngtimer and current Mercedes-Benz cars.
One of the legendary events in Czech motorsport is the “1000 Miles of Czechoslovakia” competition, which has been held since 1933. Participants will drive a total of almost 1,600 kilometres of fast driving without rest from Prague to Bratislava and back. We invite all automotive history enthusiasts to the National Technical Museum on 13 June, where the race will finish.
On Saturday, 13 June, you can also see vintage cars in Němčice nad Hanou. Another vintage car meet will take place on 14 June at Kvasiny Castle.
On Saturday, 20 June, the Novobydžovský čtverec – Eliška Junková Memorial will take place. This traditional event, which has been running for 30 years, will allow visitors to admire beautiful cars and see them off at the start of the race, which is an orienteering competition with various tasks. On Sunday, 21 June, a meeting of vintage cars will take place in Rychvald.
On Saturday, 27 June, you can also visit Veteranfest at the castle in Slavkov u Brna; this popular event is traditionally held in the castle park. You can look forward to a unique exhibition of historic cars, motorcycles, tractors and bicycles with a period atmosphere.
July: Křenovice Ride, Borský Circuit
On Saturday, 11 July, there will be a gathering of vintage and youngtimer cars on a meadow in Křenovice, located near Bernartice u Písku. You can look forward to a race, and there is also the possibility of staying overnight on the meadow. A week later, on 18 July, the Borský okruh will take place.
The 17th annual Slánský Circuit should also take place in July, but its date has not yet been announced.
August: Rally in Slatinice and Posázaví
In
mid-August, the 52nd annual Chodsko Vintage Car Reliability Run will take place. You can come and see the beautiful cars on the square in Domažlice, but the exact date has not yet been set.
On Sunday, 16 August, all lovers of elegant cars are invited to the vintage car rally From Spa to Spa, which takes place in Lázně Slatinice. Admission to this event is free.
On Saturday, 29 August, the Posázavský Club of Historic Vehicles is organising an orientation competition for vintage cars called Rallye Posázaví. This event combines a love of vintage cars with the opportunity to enjoy driving and experience skill competitions. The competition is part of the Czech Republic Historic Vehicle Cup. Cars and motorcycles over 30 years old are eligible to participate. The start is at the Zámek Berchtold hotel, where you can admire the cars from 7:30 to 10:15. The route passes through the picturesque Posázaví region with areas of interest to tourists, and the competitors return to the Berchtold Castle. The vintage cars are expected to arrive between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.
September: Zbraslav – Jíloviště hill climb, rally in Boleslav
Don’t forget to mark 5–6 September in your calendar – it will be the 59th annual international hill climb for historic vehicles in Zbraslav – Jíloviště.
The Jeseníky Mountains will welcome the traditional Trofeo Niké vintage car race, which will take place from 10 to 13 September.
From 10 to 12 September, we invite you to the Oldtimer Bohemia Rally in Mladá Boleslav. On the first day, the cars will drive through the evening streets of Mladá Boleslav and the surrounding area. The total length of the race is 350 km.
On 27 September, you can visit the traditional meeting of members of the Oldtimer Club, a club for collectors of historic vehicles, at Helfštýn Castle.
October and November: Most Classic and the end of the season in Prague
The Autodrom in Most invites you to another edition of The Most Classic, which will take place on 10 October. Racing cars from the 1960s to the 1980s will be driving around the circuit.
At the end of October, one of the largest car shows in Prague will take place on 31 October and 1 November at the Exhibition Grounds in Letňany. The Prague Car Festival will offer the best tuning in Europe on an area of over 30,000 m², as well as the best Czech and foreign car and motorcycle races, and a representation of the rich history of car and motorcycle development from the pre-war period to the present day. The exhibition will feature more than 250 historic cars and motorcycles from the pre-war period to the 1990s.
