Get Ready for Thrills: Crazy Bikers Take Over the Ski Slope in Špindlerův Mlýn for the Epic Chinese Downhill

Chinese downhill is a wild winter mountain bike race organized by the well-known Czech cyclist Michal Maroši. Like in previous years, many bikers will come together in Špindlerův Mlýn to race down a ski slope at top speed. The winner is determined by who can ride without using brakes. This exciting winter race isn’t new; this is its sixth year. It’s celebrated as a joyful event for adrenaline junkies and those who love high speeds.
The action begins on Saturday, 7 February right after the ski slopes close for the day, around 3:00 p.m.. Riders will take off from the red slope in Svatý Petr and race down. This event promises thrill not only for the bikers but also for the viewers, who can see all the wild racing from the slopes or from the restaurant in Svatý Petr. Riders can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h, and there will be plenty of exciting overtakes, fierce competitions, as well as tumbles and spills. Entry to the event is free, and you can also park for free at Hromovka, which is about a 10-minute walk away.
