Soar into Romance: Discover Dreamy Love in Brno
Love is meant to be shared by both people and places, and on Saint Valentine’s Day Valentine’s Day in Brno embodies that spirit perfectly. The Brno Tourist Information Centre has organized a special event for all those in love on this special day. On Saturday, 14 February 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the Old Town Hall Tower will be welcoming visitors. They’ll enjoy not only a stunning view but also a beautifully romantic atmosphere. This evening, the tower will be filled with live music, and a photographer will be present to capture lovely photos for keepsakes.
The Old Town Hall is the oldest non-religious building in Brno. It features the impressive 63-metre-high town hall tower with a Renaissance gallery, providing lovers with a breathtaking view of the city. To reach the top, there are 173 steps that lead up to the tower, where you can observe the clock mechanism and view a display about the history of the Old Town Hall. St. Valentine’s Day in Brno offers a truly enchanting experience with your head high in the clouds. Tickets are available for purchase on the TIC Brno website.
If climbing isn’t your preference, you can dive into an adventure in the underground Labyrinth beneath Zelný trh, or enjoy both activities to conquer a 71-metre difference in elevation. You’ll find yourself up to 8 metres under the street level of Zelný trh, which takes you back to the Middle Ages. In this captivating space, you’ll see an alchemist’s lab and replicas of a town pillory and a madman’s cage, which were once exhibited in the market square during the 17th century. At the end of your underground journey, there will be a wine tasting featuring delicious roses.
As a third option, you are welcome to join the CIT Cinema at Radnická 4, where they will be showing the film Notting Hill. Additionally, TIC Brno offers something for singles, allowing them to go on a guided walk on Valentine’s Day, ensuring no one feels alone, even if they are the only participant. The meeting point is set for 10:00 a.m. at the Old Town Hall Courtyard.
