Prague to Host Global Tourism Event: Join Buyers and Journalists from Over 20 Countries for Two Exciting Days!

Join us for a meeting that brings together Czech tourism entrepreneurs with foreign tour operators, buyers, and journalists. The goal of this event is to support local tourism businesses while promoting Czechia internationally.

Czechia Travel Trade Day is a key event for us. It connects Czech entrepreneurs with foreign partners, helping us explore new opportunities for inbound tourism. Prague is the perfect location—it’s easily accessible, serves as a natural gateway to Czechia, and offers a wide variety of tourist experiences,” shares František Reismüller, Director of the Czech Tourist Authority – CzechTourism.

This year, guests from over 20 countries, including dozens of buyers and 20 journalists, will arrive in the capital. Key representatives from foreign markets will gather to forge new collaborations and gain inspiration for travel offers to Czechia.

Two Days Full of Business, Inspiration, and New Contacts

This year’s event will provide ample opportunities for intense business meetings and networking. Attendees can anticipate numerous pre-arranged meetings with foreign tour operators and directors of foreign CzechTourism offices. The program will also feature product managers from the agency who will showcase specific tourism products and innovative ways to present Czechia to foreign visitors.

The first day will include a panel discussion on current tourism topics, while the second day will highlight a presentation about the destination of Czechia, alongside various formats for sharing experiences and fostering collaboration among participants.

“We’ve designed this year’s program to be as practical as possible, ensuring participants gain maximum contacts and tangible results. On both days, we’ll facilitate business meetings with foreign tour operators and directors from our international offices, along with our product managers presenting specific tourism offerings. This expands meeting possibilities while introducing new formats that inspire and provide broader perspectives on further tourism development in Czechia,” adds Tereza Hofmanová, Director of Product Management, Research, and B2B Cooperation.

Gala Evening and Exploring the Regions

This year’s gala will take place at the Slavonic House, creating a setting for informal meetings and additional networking opportunities. But the agenda doesn’t stop there! The CzechTourism agency is collaborating with regional tourism centers and Prague City Tourism, which will contribute to activities in the capital.

In addition to visiting Prague, foreign guests will also explore regions like Central Bohemia, Liberecky, Olomouc, Pardubice, Plzeň, and Vysočina. Exciting programs will showcase historical monuments, traditional crafts, and modern tourist experiences that aim to broaden the offerings of foreign tour operators to new destinations beyond the capital.

Registration for Czech participants opens on March 10 and closes on March 27, or when capacity is reached. Participants will be able to schedule specific business meetings through an online platform.

An Event that Connects Czechia to the World

Czechia Travel Trade Day occurs in a different city each year, giving foreign guests a taste of Czechia’s diverse offerings. Past events have been hosted in cities like Hradec Králové, Brno, Karlovy Vary, České Budějovice, Liberec, Plzeň, Olomouc, and Ostrava.

As the largest domestic workshop dedicated to promoting tourism in Czechia, this event demonstrates that visiting our country is truly worthwhile. Czechia Travel Trade Day links Czech tourism with the global market and opens up new opportunities for its further growth.
