Marvel at the Spectacular Bloom of Thousands of Snowdrops and Snowflakes in Kostelec nad Orlicí Castle Park

Castle park in Kostelec nad Orlicí is starting to showcase lovely white blankets of snowdrops along with bright yellow talovinas, signifying the arrival of this year’s spring season. If the weather stays cool as it is now, we can expect that the flowers will continue to bloom for at least another month .
However, if the weather gets too warm, it could negatively impact the snowdrops.
The park remains open for free all year round and is classified as a nature reserve, celebrated not just for these charming little flowers. Back in the 1930s, gardeners worked to increase their numbers, and now, the snowdrops are thriving and spreading naturally on their own. The park is accessible from 8:00 a.m. until dusk.
Besides snowdrops, you’ll also be greeted by a variety of other spring blossoms in the castle park, such as white crocuses, spring crocuses, and wood anemones.
