Witches Come Together Again at Ladronka – Exciting Activities Await!

Witches at LadronkaTraditional spring celebrations will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, starting at 12:00 noon. This year’s edition of the popular event Witches at Ladronka promises to offer visitors a magical experience filled with performances, entertainment, and games in the Prague 6 district. Each year, to celebrate St James’s Night, countless witches of all ages and other mystical beings gather at the beloved Ladronka Park in Prague. Attendees of Witches at Ladronka will have smiles on their faces due to an exciting musical program featuring concerts from famous bands, engaging competitions, and various sports and other enjoyable activities. There will also be delicious food to delight your taste buds. One of the highlights of the event is the competition for the best witch costume, where participants can win valuable prizes. Children will enjoy the popular skill-based Witches’ Trail, where they can try brewing a witch’s potion, flying on a broomstick, or rolling dice. A traditional bonfire lighting with a witch will also take place.

witch on a broomstickThis year, an exciting musical program on stage will feature the band SLZA, singer Tereza Balonová, and the rising star of Czech music, Matěj Plšek. Between concerts, there will be presentations from various non-profit organizations and associations, as well as interactive performances by the DAM DA Theatre and the project Learning Through Play with Pinkie.

Attendees can also look forward to entertaining presentations from a variety of organizations in Prague 6, including local children’s and youth centers. This means that everyone interested will have the chance to participate in a wide range of sporting, artistic, and other fun-filled activities. In addition to the central bonfire, there will be small fire pits where guests can roast sausages all afternoon and sing along with guitars by the fireside.
